Distilled Gin, It Truly Is Almost Every Girls Tonic
It's leaped into my mind that I have written a lot about men imbibing London gin, and me being a female (at least I was the last time I looked), and I also drink dry gin, accordingly at risk of it turning into a male fest, the following is one just for the females.
When you happen to be on a girls evening out, and you are perched at the bar, trying to decide what you would like to drink, and well you aren't able to drink draught beer, mainly because the pint glass wouldn't look right with your outfit, and you are unable to imbibe cider, since it would make you bloated, you really wouldn't mind a glass of red or white wine, however damn shame, that means far too many calories that you would much rather squander on a chocolate bar, and you would ideally imbibe a bottle of champagne, and yet that is not actually going to happen unless of course Mr. Big appears and takes you home to his amazing home, and buys you lots of clothes and repays your current bills…so what the hell are you going to drink? Well my girlies, be worried no more, considering that Aunty Vicki has completed all of the labour so that you have no need to.
The most effective solution will be.....yep most likely you guessed it simply because of the reality I'm discussing London gin but it's gin & (Slimline)Tonic!
"Seriously? But Why?" I hear you enquire. Well…here it goes:
1) They're genuinely low in calories. Within the Gin & Slimline Tonic you will find…are you ready….just Fifty six calories. So that you don't have to feel too bad when you have one or two, and then you do not need to mess up any pre-christmas diets. This is a win win scenario.

This means you get rid of more water which helps to provide a temporary treatment for bloatedness.
All this being mentioned, the next occasion you're feeling a tad peaky and you really are in need of a beverage of the alcoholic variety, bare this in mind, a drop of tonic will likely make Oliver Twist gin go down (in the most pleasurable way).
